@JDinMorris -- how do I remove it?
While you see the listing of all the instances, click with the right-side mouse button on an instance, and then choose "End Task". Repeat as necessary.

@JDinMorris -- how do I remove it from the system?
Not really recommended, but sometimes brute force is a bypass:
- do the "end task" trick on all the instances,
- open the folder containing the EXE file,
- using "administrative privileges", RENAME the file, to add a suffix, e.g., "dot-J-D",
- restart your computer.
Since Windows can no longer "find" the file, it cannot launch it.

@JDinMorris --- i got a message box that said i need permission from "System" to do that
I did write:
Using "administrative privileges", RENAME the file, to add a suffix, e.g., "dot-J-D"
Try these "brute force" steps:
- click the "Windows" icon on the bottom-left of the monitor;
- click "Shutdown";
- while holding-down the SHIFT key, click on "Restart"
This should restart Windows to a different screen, the one usually used for diagnosing problems.
From there, choose to open a command-line prompt.
Navigate to the folder containing that file.
Use the RENAME command to add the suffix.
Click to restart normally.
