I am trying to remove Norton Security from my PC.

Open your web browser and search for "Uninstall Norton Security"

Just so you know -- after you remove Norton, Windows 10 will AUTOMATICALLY launch Windows Defender -- the default AV product provided by Microsoft.  If you are OK with that, then fine.

 

You can also install a different third-party AV product and that will AUTOMATICALLY disable Windows Defender.

 

But current versions of Win10 will not let you run without an AV product.  There used to be a simple registry edit you could make to permanently disable Windows Defender, and while that still works (kind of), when you reboot, MS then automatically re-enables it.  There is no way to turn it off and have it stay off permanently without installing a third-party AV product.
