HP Recommended

The monitor is going blank intermittently while in use... have reconfigured several ways, still happens , when I set up a different "non-HP" monitor there is no problem... problem is in the monitor, thought a firmware upgrade or re-install might solve the problem but am not given that option so far... tried installing the Drivers, that did not fix it... searched on google and found a number of others with similar problems, no solution found thus far.... any ideas??? yazThunder
