This is a new M01 F0027na Desktop running Windows 10. The HP pop-up window for software/drivers keeps popping up many times per day even though it says it is scheduled for once per week. It reports that all is OK and up to date. How to stop it?

Hi, I followed the advice in the links and just disabled the notifications so let's see if it works. That is obviously a bad solution. It is a new computer with guarantee so HP should supply a tool to fix it. Does anyone know how to get it please?

Everything has already been said
If the solutions provided are not enough, as I mentioned the best way at the moment is to stop using this software
For hp to look for a solution, as I mentioned, you must also use the report option, and indicate the problem.
Computer under warranty or not the problem comes from the software
Hp must find a solution for the software

Thank you for the input. The only free software I have installed is the Google Chrome browser. I have Malwarebytes installed and also SynckBackSE both paid for from their official sites. Otherwise, this is a clean new computer. Could there be some other fix?

there is nothing to do with chrome
re-read the answers provided in the subject, there is nothing more for the moment!

Since you're running Chrome, see if the following will help:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More. Settings.
- Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
- Click Pop-ups and redirects.
- At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Hi, I seem to have a solution. Using the HP support assistant I simply disabled the updates which, of course, stopped the pop-ups. However the next day I enabled updates again and the repeated pop-ups stopped. This was a new out-of-the box computer which had the HP software pre-installed and running. I wonder if it was just due to an improper startup ( perhaps setting a schedule before it knows what is the date & time)?
