Hp has become very annoying with their marketing pop ups in last year. I've had this laptop for 4 years and not bothered. When I removed MacAfee from my laptop because they became obnoxious trying to sell me their products when I removed their security. Then HP started sending me pop ups. How do I get rid of them? I own the laptop, NOT HP! I don't need you having control when and how many times you will ne harassing me with pop ups and solicitations.

@Koolhandvuk, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Disabling HP Pop-Up Notifications!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
HP Support Assistant Settings:
- Open HP Support Assistant on your computer.
- Click on your device name, go to "Updates" settings, and adjust notification preferences.
- You can choose not to receive pop-up notifications for updates if that is the source.
Windows Notification Settings:
- Go to Windows Settings by typing Settings in the search bar.
- Navigate to "System" > "Notifications & actions".
- Under "Get notifications from these senders", find any HP-related applications that might be sending notifications and toggle them off.
Uninstall HP Applications:
- If the pop-ups are coming from specific HP apps you don’t use, consider uninstalling them.
- Open Control Panel, select "Programs and Features", and uninstall any HP programs that are not essential for your use.
Browser-Based Pop-Ups:
- If the pop-ups are browser-based, check for browser extensions or settings that might be allowing pop-ups from HP, and disable them.
Implementing these steps should help reduce or eliminate unwanted pop-up notifications from HP.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
