It's almost certainly a DRIVER issue, and since HP does not supply mobile phone drivers, you will have to go to the support site for your phone manufacturer and get Windows 10 drivers from them.

Thanks for that but I've looked everywhere I can think of and I have no idea how to download the appropriate driver. I contacted Samsung but they were no help at all. Some information/instruction would be much appreciated. As I probably don't need to tell I am hopeless with all these devices.
