Step 1: Clean Up Previous Installations
- Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
- Uninstall any existing HP Support Solutions Framework or HP Support Assistant
- Restart your laptop
Step 2: Prepare Your System
- Run Windows Update: Make sure your system is fully updated
- Install Dependencies:
Step 3: Reinstall HP Support Solutions Framework
- Download the latest version from HP’s official support page
- Right-click the installer and choose Run as Administrator
- Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall during installation (some security software blocks HP’s installer)
Step 4: Clear Temporary Files
- Press Win + R, type temp, and delete all files
