Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have both a HP Envy touchsmart and an HP Pavilion allinone.  The software updates shown on the HP assistant appear on the incorrect computer.   How do I get the correct updates to appear on the computers?

Hi @Catiew12

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

You may delete the PC that you do not want and add the PC that you want on the app.

(a) Open HPSA,

(b) Select device you want to delete to open it,

(c) On the top menu,  it has a button on the top right with a pencil in the icon.

(d) Clicking on it to brings up a window "Edit device information."

(e) In the bottom center, it says "Remove this device." Click it.

To add a device,

  1. Turn on the device you want to add, make sure it is in a ready state, and that it is connected to the computer or local network.
  2. On the My devices tab, click Add an HP device.

  3. Click Add an HP device on the My devices screen

  4. Click Detect my device to view a list of available devices to add. Additionally, you can click Manually add my device to use the product number and serial number to find your device.

  5. Click your device name, type a nickname for your device, and then click Add to my devices.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
