Sir, I just bought this laptop about 4 or 5 days ago, and while checking its warranty, I see that the warranty started 6 months ago. What does this mean, is it a used laptop?

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So, the longer the PC sits unsold, the less time remains on the warranty.
