This has come up before and there is no "front panel" diagram.  The best I can do is lookup the specs on your system and get the names of the ports from the motherboard model.

Back I/O ports

  • (1) RJ-45 Ethernet port
  • (1) HDMI 1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port
  • (1) VGA output port
  • (3) Audio ports (Line-in/Line-out/Microphone)
  • (4) USB 2.0 Type-A ports
  • (1) Power input port

Front I/O ports

  • (1) Headphone/microphone combo port
  • (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port (5 Gbps data transfer)
  • (2) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (5 Gbps data transfer)
  • (2) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (10 Gbps data transfer)

Note that a headset plug type is needed on the front.

These symbols might be applicable

Hello Scotless!

USB 3.1 Gen 1 vs USB 3.1 Gen 2

The difference between USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 is only in terms of speed. USB 3.1 Gen 1 supports speeds of up to 5Gbit/s while USB 3.1 Gen 2 supports speeds of up to 10Gbit/s. The USB-IF intended to use a set of different names to call the USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 that would’ve made it better strictly for marketing purposes. They wanted to name USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 "SuperSpeed USB" and "SuperSpeed USB+" respectively, but the industry never caught on. Often, OEMs will add the speeds of 5Gbps or 10Gbps to their spec tables in order to differentiate between the two USB standards. The rest of the industry just refers to them as "USB 3.1 Gen 1" or "USB 3.1 Gen 2."

Basically your USB-C is just the same as the USB 3.1 just physically smaller.  It cannot be used for Video as video is not listed on that motherboard list.  It probably cannot be used to charge an iPhone as it is not "blessed" by Apple.  It could be used for data transfers to any USB-C device.
