hi this barry, im trying to view the video feed from my security system, i used to have a similar system and all i had to do was run the hdmi cable from the system to the hdmi port on the back of the computer. but when i do this to this computer i get nothing. do i need to "turn on " the hdmi port some how ? i can plug it in to my tv and it works fine

One the spec page for that model, it indicates the HDMI port is for HDMI out.

So in other words, it is for sending the video signal from the PC to another device IE: TV
