Not sure my bios is current and am having trouble with bluetooth connection

What is the full model number or product number of your PC?

 

Also, in order to see what the latest BIOS update there is available for your PC's motherboard, I need the motherboard's system ID.

 

You can find your PC motherboard's BIOS System Board ID (SSID) by:

 

In the search feature on the Windows taskbar:

 

Type: System Information

 

Run the app and look for the Baseboard Product line about 1/3 of the way down on the report.

 

The baseboard product info is the same as the motherboard System Board ID/SSID.

 

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your PC come with?

 

I'll post the link to the latest Bluetooth driver HP currently has for the Bluetooth adapter on the Wi-Fi card's circuit board.
