INVALID SERIAL NUMBER

 

this is very annoying and it's not the first time dealing with this.

 

The serial number is marked on the united and it shows up with the wmic bios get serialnumber command as well.

so, the serial is correct on both accounts but when you go to the site it says it's not valid.

 

hoping HP support will see this:

Kindly share the physical serial number of your laptop and the BIOS window serial number.

To get your laptop's serial number in the BIOS, restart your computer and repeatedly press a specific key (like F1, F2, or Del) to enter BIOS Setup, where the serial number is usually listed on the main or system information page
