A discussion here indicates that HP came up with this solution.
The fix, if any, is in the bios. Possibly a bios update has been released for your system.
What is your product ID?
Just guessing: Did the problem with that driver show up when you enabled core isolation in windows 11?

If I turn it off then win 11 complains that it can't load anymore updates. If I leave it on it still won't load any updates saying hpportlox64 driver is bad and has been disabled. Hp lists no updates for my computer because the warranty is expired and they do not list windows 11 drivers for that computer.
