Hi @Jill141

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are facing an issue with your, I am glad to assist you today.

Please try these steps

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/camera-app-shows-error-0xa00f4244-nocamerasareattached-0...

The root cause of the camera error 0xA00F4244 is often linked to issues with the camera driver. If this driver is outdated or corrupted, it might not effectively communicate with the hardware, leading to this error.

Resolving this issue can often be as straightforward as updating the camera driver. Windows frequently has updates from manufacturers available within its system. By executing a Windows Update, you can ensure that your camera driver is current. The Windows Camera troubleshooter in the Get Help app is another useful tool. It contains automated steps that can resolve most camera-related issues.

I am unable to locate camera driver for this unit. I have upgraded to Windows 11, and the site only gives me a Windows 10 option.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
