HP Recommended

My 22cwa monitors display will not turn on. the power symbol is not lit up, but i know the monitor is plugged in correctly as the light on the back indicates it's connected to power and it pops up under devices in my computer. ive never had this issue before, and ive tried unplugging it from everything but nothing seems to work. does anyone know a solution?
