Hi,
I also cannot connect my 2019 Macbook Pro (serial [personal info removed])
to my new HP 24F monitor:
HP 24F monitor, serial [Personal info removed]
I am connecting to the monitor via this usb-c to hdmi cable :
Uni USB-C to HDMI : https://uniaccessories.io/products/usb-c-to-hdmi-adapter-4k-60hz
When I connect the monitor, the mac freezes and sometimes needs to be restarted.
The monitor works fine with a 2015 MacBook pro, which has built in hdmi out.
