I have 2 LG 4k@60hz HDR monitors with HDMI ports. My pc has 1 HDMI port and monitor one works great. I have a J5 adapter that only will give 2k@30hz . I have a new USB-C to HDMI adapter and my pc won't detect the monitor, but I now see that it requires Displayport alt mode to work. I'm not seeing it. Is there a fix or a different an adapter that I can use to get full 4k@60hz on this pc?

Any of the 4k miracast HDMI dongles should work. Microsoft makes one that should work good.
note that any Wi-Fi (miracast) enabled monitors will lag badly when playing games
Possibly a quality USB3 to HDMI 4k adapter (not just a cable) may not lag as bad as Wi-Fi.
