I have 2 different computers connected to my Pavilion 24xw monitor and I've set it to not Auto-Switch Input.
However, when I have, say, selected HDMI1 as the input, but that computer is turned off, I cannot get the menu to display to switch to HDMI2. And Vice versa.
Is this by design or is my monitor somehow faulty?
Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks. I tried it and it does work to a fashion. Whenever there is no display, it seems the screen is unable to display the menu (or the Quick Menu) so working out how many presses are needed is a bit hit and miss. I haven't got the logic worked out in my head but it may be that you press button 4 once to get its attention, and then once or twice to get to the input you want.
I'm not totally convinced but I'll persevere.
