My HP all in one HP Pavilion All-in-One - 27-a027c (Touch)
has an hdmi port and I can connect a second display fine.
I would like to add a third display and was wondering if I could use the type c USB port to do this.
Or another possible way to accomplish this.
Thanks!

In checking the user guides, etc - they mention using a second monitor with either of these type connections (display port or HDMI), but do not mention a third display using both at the same time. For AIO systems, I have recommended an adapter similar to this:
https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Graphics-Multiple-2048x1152-1920x1080/dp/B00A2E1MQA
That will drive the third monitor quite nicely. There are other brands that will/may work but that particular one has very good results.
I'm not an HP employee.
