Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have tried NVIDIA drivers, HP drivers, factory resetting, switching to windows 10 from windows 11,  reinstalling the games, running the bios checks, updating windows, playing the games in compatibility mode, repairing/reinstalling DirectX, and many other things I can't remember right now

Lot of those old games need help in order to run on any OS newer than win 7

For example, Red Faction needs a launcher to start in 10 and the launcher was created by a group of gamers that got together to figure out the problem.

Direct x 11 came out in 2010, you could try installing the MIcrosoft  VC runtimes both x86 and x64 for 2010

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/

then search the web for fixes or patches for the games that have problems.
