Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I upgraded the HP Compaq Elite 8300 to Windows 10 and now the webcam does not work. I have tried searching for a driver on the internet and so no luck. I have reset to a clean OS and reinstalled everything again. Ran all the latest updates for windows 10, and restarted multiple times....not having too much luck. I have got into Device Manager, uninstalled the webcam under Image and now it does not show up at all. Under Camera, I see Localhost and tried to update the driver on it but nothing happens. It is listing the HP cam as HP High Definition 2MP Webcam. I have tried reinstalling the driver and searching for the one that will work on Windows 10, 64 bit but it does not seem to work. I am trying to use the webcam via Zoom and Teams applications but no display. In Zoom, it show a green screen in the camera box.

Any suggestions would be helpful

You need the HP webcam software

Your system was windows 7 or 8 but the driver x64 should work ok for win 10

software updates are here

select 64 bit and win7 or 8

try this driver https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62001-62500/sp62386.exe

configuring for zoom or just testing is here

do you have the 3.08 bios?  You might want to upgrade if a problem with camera but it is always dangerous to change the bios.
