Did this happen after a power failure?
After a Microsoft or HP update?
After a BIOS update?

Add memory or some new device?

If the mouse and keyboard are USB do any of the LEDs light up?

Are there any flashing LEDs indicating the disk driver is active? Item 2 below

If you connect an HDMI cable from ":5"  to a TV or external monitor is anything displayed?
