I have just recently purchased a HP all in one 24-xa. It is only a few weeks old and it has had a persistent problem where the screen will go black for a few seconds and then recover however the system is still operating and there are no error codes, beeps or lockups. It's almost as if the screen has been turned off and on again. I have disconnected all peripherals except for the (factory) mouse and the wifi connected printer. The issue can occur three or four times per hour and there does not appear to be any pattern or particular programme causing it.
I have also updated all the drivers and run the HP diagnostics which reports there are no problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,
Have you checked if the issue persists even on the Bios screen.
If the issue persists on the BIOS page it is a hardware issue with the display.
If the issue does not persist on the BIOS page try updating the graphics, chipset and BIOS on the PC to the latest version.
Let's uninstall the display drivers from Device manager:
Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
Check the box that states delete the software for this device.
Now restart the computer and then update the Bios, Chipset and graphics card drivers on your PC either from our HP support website, using this link or download it using HP Support Assistant
Download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
I hope this should do the trick. Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
