Pavilion All-in-one 24r
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My touchscreen stopped working a few months ago. The touchscreen driver disappeared from the device manager, and there seems to be no way to reinstall it.

My attempts to resolve this includes:

1. I did a system restore which wiped my files, but still it didn't work.

2. I've tried f2 hp diagnostics but it is stuck at the 'initializing diagnostics' page. I've reinstalled UEFI (without uninstalling the old one though) and installed UEFI in a USB removable drive but it never gives me the selection and only uses the UEFI in the computer.

3. HP Support Assistant touchscreen troubleshoot did not solve it (the web page is not available)

Please help.

@Vintai Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the touchscreen is not working.

As you have stated that you have performed possible troubleshooting steps. The issue is not resolved.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Keep us posted,
