Anti-aliasing does not work on my games most of the time so everything has very jagged edges in them. Sometimes games or cutscenes will also be grainy.

@Deathhood64, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
It sounds like your OMEN is having issues with anti-aliasing not working properly in games, leading to jagged edges and occasional grainy visuals.
First, make sure your NVIDIA GPU drivers are fully updated. Open GeForce Experience, go to Drivers, and check for updates. If you already have the latest driver, try performing a clean installation by removing all drivers, then reinstall the latest version from HP Support website.
Next, check your NVIDIA Control Panel settings. Right-click on your desktop, open NVIDIA Control Panel, go to Manage 3D settings, and under Global Settings, set Anti-Aliasing Mode to Application-Controlled. Also, disable Image sharpening under Adjust Image Settings, as sharpening filters can make jagged edges more noticeable.
For grainy cutscenes, check if motion blur, film grain, or sharpening filters are enabled in the game settings—disabling them might improve clarity. Also, verify that Windows Display Settings (under Advanced display settings) show the correct refresh rate and resolution for your OMEN 16’s screen.
If anti-aliasing issues persist across multiple games, try switching between DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 in games that allow it.
Let me know if these steps help, or if the problem is specific to certain games! 😊
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
