I have 16GB of RAM, but have no idea is being used for video. My Photo processing software likes 1GB VRAM, do I have to install a video card? I doubt the PS can support the load.

Welcome to the HP Support Community @KeithS1947

Power-on start tapping the "esc" key or F10.

Go into BIOS setup.

Then go to Advanced then Built-in Device Options.

There you should be able to set it to 512mb.

Let me look and see if there is an update that will give you more.

Sorry @KeithS1947

But I do not see much of anything that could increase it???

You could try the BIOS update then recheck it and see if it increased the size limit in the BIOS???
