HP 27ea Monitor
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Just moved and the audio connection cable from my HP Desktop Computer to the HP 27ea monitor with internal speakers was lost.  As a result I have no sound/speaker capability and no one seems to know where to get a replacement for this simple wire with a plug on each end.

Any help?

Hello, @Lenny9 – Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

Going through your post, I am not very sure about the audio cable that you are referring to. Are you referring to the HDMI audio cable that you used to connect the PC to the monitor? Please check http://hp.care/2f0XsAq

If it is indeed the HDMI cable, go through the link - it also has some steps that could help you fix the issue.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Cheers 🙂

Not the HDMI connection but the single pin output from a pc audio card to the single pin input on the back of the 27ea monitor.  In any case, the panic was for nothing since my wife found the cable in a kitchen box where the movers "hid" it.

Thanks for the interest.

Hi @Lenny9, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @Dvortex, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

Thanks for the reply and glad to hear that the issue is resolved as you found the 3.5mm audio cable.
