Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened my computer to replace my RAM and I accidentally disconnected the display from the large silver cable, and when I tried to re-connect it I pulled on the white clip that holds the cable in place and it broke. Where can I find a replacement?

If the part is a "zif connector" there is a video of how to replace the latch here

You will have to count the pins and find a replacement zif connector somehow

https://www.google.com/search?q=zif+connector

there is a work-around here

if not a zif connector then post a picture of the problem

No it's not a zif connecter, here's a picture.

That broken white bit I'm holding is what I'm looking for, it goes into the slot on the right.

That looks like a zif socket.  It is "flip down" and comes in 0.5 and 1.0 mm sizes or maybe more.  You are holding the "flip" part unless I am mistaken.

I have no idea if the "flip part" from one of the above will repair your socket.   If the socket is damaged then no "flip" will stay put and you need to "MacGyver it" as was done here

Sorry
