Hi @Kishore36

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the concern regarding the camera showing a black screen. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Could you let me know if you have already tried any troubleshooting steps on your side? It would also help if you could share the exact HP product details (model name or product number) and mention whether you see any error messages or if the camera is missing from Device Manager.

This information will allow us to guide you with precise HP‑recommended steps.

In the meantime, here are some basic checks you can try:

  • Open the HP App and run the Diagnose & Fix tool to see if it detects and resolves the issue.
  • Verify that the camera is enabled in Device Manager under “Imaging Devices.”
  • Check if the camera privacy switch or key (if your model has one) is turned off.
  • Restart the system and test the camera with multiple applications (HP App, Camera app, Teams).

Once you share the product details and any observations, we can provide recommended steps. Would you be able to provide those details?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
