HP Envy Curve All-In-One 34C
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have one of the newer 34" HP Curve all-in-one computers. In the back, I found both, an input and output HDMI ports, I am atemting to use it as a second projector to my 14" work laptop (only has HDMI Out). I have connected the HDMI cable from my laptop to my "IN" HDMI, but nothing happens. Is there anything I need to configure? Please help!

@USgustavo

I don't think your 14" laptop supports the resolution of your monitor, it may only get 1920 x 1080. You need to use a switch (#4) to change HDMI mode

Regards.

Thank you for the super fast reply!

I tottaly understand the resolution would not be the same. But I still want to project, duplicate or even extend the image from my laptop to this IOS. Both PCs are running Window's 10, not sure if this matters but just in case, I thought it would be good to know.

The back of the AIO does not show a "switch" nor do I believe it needs one, a couple of months ago my cable guy used this same AIO as a display to project image from a cable box via HDMI, so I know there is a way to do so, but how do I change these settings? I would need step by step directions since I'm not that computer savvy.

Please see below picture showing the back of my HP AIO 34C Curve PC showing the HDMI I/O ports.
