I was trying to re-install my camera but I can't find the version of the model I have. The only options were Windows 11 22H2 but I have Windows 11  23H2. I need this fixed asap, can someone send the drive for the camera? The model I have is:

HP Laptop - 14s-fq0000na

Thank you

Hi @elisha_chloe,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To resolve the issue with your camera on your HP Laptop - 14s-fq0000na and ensure compatibility with Windows 11 23H2, you can follow these steps:

1. Check Windows Updates

  1. Check for Windows Updates:
    • Go to Settings > Windows Update.
    • Click on Check for updates to ensure your system is up to date. Sometimes, Windows Update will provide the necessary drivers for your hardware.

2. Use Device Manager to Update the Camera Driver

  • Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
  • Look for Imaging devices or Cameras in the list.
  • Right-click on your camera and select Update driver.
  • Select Search automatically for updated driver software. This will search online for the latest driver compatible with your system.

3. Download Drivers from HP Support

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Enter your laptop model (HP Laptop - 14s-fq0000na) in the search bar and select it from the list.
  • Choose Windows 11 22H2 if Windows 11 23H2 is not listed, as the drivers should generally be compatible with the minor update.
  • Download the appropriate camera driver from the list of available drivers.
  • Install the driver by following the on-screen instructions.

4. Manually Install a Compatible Driver

  • In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and select Update driver.
  • Choose Browse my computer for drivers.
  • Select the driver you downloaded and follow the prompts to install it.

5. HP Recovery Manager:

  • Some HP laptops come with HP Recovery Manager, which can reinstall drivers and applications that originally came with your laptop.
  • Search for HP Recovery Manager in the Windows search bar and open it.
  • Look for an option to reinstall drivers and follow the prompts.

6. HP Support Assistant

  • If you have HP Support Assistant installed, open it and let it scan your system for updates and missing drivers.
  • Install any recommended updates, including the camera driver.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
