HP OMEN 32q

First monitor/not workingFirst monitor/not workingSecond monitor/workingSecond monitor/workingSecond monitor/workingSecond monitor/workingFirst monitor/not workingFirst monitor/not workingI have two HP Omen 32q monitors, for about a week I have not been able to change the settings on one of them and many options are unavailable, as can be seen in the photo. On the second one, everything works without any problems. Additionally, the first one sometimes looks as if the brightness and contrast were set to maximum. The problem is best seen when watching videos on YT, when I transfer the image from one monitor to another, as can be seen in the photos. I will add that the monitor in which I cannot change the settings is connected via DP and has a refresh rate of 165Hz, and the one in which everything is OK is connected via HDMI and has a refresh rate of 75Hz

Hi @Juras97,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing some technical difficulties with one of your HP Omen 32q monitors. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to address the issue.

  • Reset the monitor settings: Some monitors have a factory reset option in their settings menu. You can try resetting the problematic monitor to its factory defaults to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Check cables and connections: Make sure that the DisplayPort cable connecting the problematic monitor to your computer is securely plugged in on both ends. You might also want to try using a different cable or port on your graphics card to rule out any issues with the connection.
  • Update graphics drivers: Ensure that your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated or incompatible drivers can sometimes cause issues with monitor settings and performance.
  • Test the monitor on a different system: Connect the problematic monitor to a different computer to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the monitor itself or with your computer's configuration.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I just checked all the steps that were given as solutions. Resetting the settings didn't help, the drivers are up to date. After checking all the inputs on the graphics card, which were OK, I checked the inputs on the monitor. And in the monitor that has problems, they only appear when connecting the monitor via DisplayPort. Unfortunately, I am unable to connect it other than via DisplayPort due to the one HDMI output that I use to connect a second monitor

it would be helpful if the solution is shared in a public forum to assist other. I'm also having the same issue, is there a fix?
