Can't play MP4 videos sent by e-mail.

Not sure if this is right place, but here goes. When I receive an e-mail that contains a video, MP4 format, I click on it to download. The system works and works, but never finishes. Sometimes I receive a message that system is unable to download. But mostly I just see that darn circle go round and round and.....

Can you SAVE attached file(s) ? With big mp4 file(s) sometimes you have to save it/them then play offline using the following free player

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html

Please download and install, it will play nearly all video formats including Blue Ray discs (BD's).

Thanks, but I have tried to save them, but a right click doesn't do anything, and a left click starts the download - which never ends.

What is your email client/agent or just webmail ? If webmail, which one ?

I use Hotmail.com. This is a fairly new computer with Windows10. I also use Google Chrome for internet. This machine has all sorts of Windows software. I had an old PC that was on Windows Vista and didn't have any problem with viewing vids sent by e-mail.
