Hi
I have connected my new monitor to my Macbook using the supplied HDMI and USB-C cables through an iTeknic USB-C hub. The picture works, the speakers work and I know the USB is working as it is powering my Mac. However, there is no connection to the web-cam or the inbuilt microphone. This was one of the main reasons for choosing this model!
What am I missing / what do I need to do differently?
Thanks
Richard

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that the webcam on the monitor is not working.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC. The monitor should operate at 60Hz.The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.
I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
