Dear Community,
Greetings.
I was hoping to get a MthsTec external Blue-Ray Drive to work on my HP Pavilion All-in-One-24-r114. The Cyberlink BD Advisor finds that the Intel UHD Graphics 630 Card is compatible, but that the driver '25.20.100.6446' is not compliant as you can see in the screenshot below. I already checked at both the Intel and HP websites looking for a driver for this Graphics Card which would enable Blue-Ray to run on this machine. I did not find a specific later driver for this 630 Card. I did find one on Dell, which appeared to be later, but it did not enable Blue-Ray. I assume the Blue Ray drive was not being found without the correct driver.
I don't know that it is possible or not to upgrade the Graphics Card on this machine, but not what I was wanting to do. It seems to me that assuming the driver for this card is the problem that HP should have a driver which is both updated and will enable Blue Ray. I think the driver date is 2018 so it's four years old which seems that it should be updated just based on the date.
I also ran the HP tools including detecting my drivers which I did at the Intel site as well and a later driver for the 630 Card was not found. Intel possibly found one for
another manufacturer, I think Dell, but could not recommend the driver of another PC maker. I did try the Dell driver then uninstalled it and reinstalled the HP 2018 driver, having to reboot my machine multiple times and never did the Blue Ray test 'pass' as you can see in the screenshots below.
Would appreciate any help or suggestions, and if HP reads these posts an updated driver for the Intel UHD Graphics 630 Card would be appreciated.
Thank so much.

Hi:
Please see my knowledge base article at the link below for how to manually update the Intel graphics driver to the latest version...

I'm assuming you have the required DVD/Blu-Ray software installed that you need to view DVD's or Blu-Ray disks?
If you do not, then you should be able to install the free VLC software from the link below to enable DVD and Blu-Ray playing.
