Hello,
At my work we have HP Compaq LA2205wg monitors. The manual explains they may be rotated by tilting the screen back and extending the monitor to its full height. When I tried this the monitor would still not rotate 90 degrees to a portrait position. Our tech support was out yesterday, while I was out, and was apparently unable to rotate the monitor. Is this simply a version that will not rotate or is there some trick that anyone might know to allow it to turn/rotate?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP Compaq LA2205wg 22-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor. I read that you would like the monitor to be rotated by tilting the screen back and extending the monitor to its full heating. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
I suggest you to refer to the information mentioned below "Adjusting the Monitor" from this HP document. This contains the steps to setup the monitor the way you mentioned.
I hope this does the trick. Keep me posted for any questions. Good luck! 🙂
