Chose brightness on HP 24mh monitor but doesn't stay warm

I found the buttons under the monitor. Selected Warm and when the black box closed the screen reverted back to it's original white brightness. How do I make the Warm (or Night or any other selection) stick and not revert back?

I see that you are facing issues with your HP 24mh 23.8-Inch Display wherein the brightness does save in warm mode.

Please check the monitor display settings on page 20 of the user manual from this link
