Hello, first time poster. What video graphic cards are compatible with my HP Pavilion p6710f desktop? I don't need a high end card for games, just one equivalent to the original card. Thank you, Charles

Hi:
These were the optional graphics cards supported in your PC's model series...
- Radeon HD 5450 (512 MB)
- Radeon HD 5450 (1 GB)
- GeForce 315 (512 MB)
- GeForce 315 (1 GB)
- GeForce 405 (1 GB)
- Radeon HD 6450 (512 MB)
- Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB)
- Radeon HD 6570 (1 GB)
Since your specific model only has the 250W power supply, I would opt for the Radeon HD 6450 (1 GB) card.
You can still buy the HD 6450 new. It draws less than 25 Watts, and it should be a better performing graphics adapter than the onboard HD 4200.
The HD 6570 would have been for models with a stronger power supply.

Here is the support page for the HP Pavilion p6710f desktop
According to that, there is no graphics card but uses onboard graphics. Perhaps, if there is a graphics card, you can identify the card either by Device Manager or a physical look see.
I'm not an HP employee.
