Computer and monitor do not connect on start-up or restart (monitor says no signal) until many tries

Pavillion desk top
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer and monitor will not communicate on start up or restart.   Takes many on/off cycles before it will connect with monitor.  Once connected, everything works fine until there is a restart or the computer is turned off.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting display on the monitor when you turn on the computer.


Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

  • What is the exact model for your computer?
  • How is the monitor connected to the computer?

While you respond to that, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
