Product: HP Envy Photo 6200 All-in-One Printer series
The Printer Health Monitor has been waking my computer up when I didn't want it to for years.
- I tried deleting the task, it was recreated
- I tried disabling "Wake the computer to run this task", it was re-enabled
- I tried uninstalling HP Smart, it didn't fix the issue and I could no longer reliable print to the printer
I am appalled that HP is allowing this to go on when so many people are complaining about this. This needs to stop, but since HP isn't doing anything about it, we have to.
I made a comment elsewhere on what I did to solve the problem (creating a PowerShell script to disable the setting that runs everyday).
