Product: OMEN 25L Desktop PC GT12-1000a (ID 1Z1C0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Having issues using a 2nd monitor as my HP Omen 25L only has one HDMI port, and I'm new to PCs so I'm not sure what other options I have? I'm currently using a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter but it's causing my monitor to flicker and makes it unresponsive. Any advice is much appreciated.

While I have not used one of these

Look for this symbol and try the adapter there.

Component Description

Connects a DisplayPort device that has a USB Type-C connector, providing display output.

If that does not work, please provide the particulars on the adapter being used.  Here is a link that explains how that type of USB port works.
