HP Z Display 22i
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a laptop with a standard HDMI port or USB as only options.  A friend gave me a n HP Z Display 22i. The Z Display apparently has DVI, DisplayPort, or VGA as its only options.  I got a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter, but monitor does not recognize cable telling me to Check Video Cable.  Any suggestions?  I Just got laid off, so the cheapest suggestions is appreciated.....

Hi,

The cheaper option would be HDMI to DVI cable, you should get same result because they are all digital.

Regards.
