Pavilion 23
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion 23 All in One computer, I also have a HP Pavilion 23i monitor which was used to extend the desktop of my lap top. My laptop is no longer working so I wanted to add the monitor to the All in one.

However, the computer doesn't have a HDMI port, DVI DisplayPort, DVI, and or even a VGA port. But it does have 6 USB ports,  I was wondering if I could use a HDMI to USB adapter to add the monitor.

TIA for any advice

Lee

@LeeDa, welcome to the forum.

Your best option is to buy a USB video adapter.  I suggest that you use StarTech's "Chat Live" option to talk to one of their Techs for help with picking the best adapter for your system.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
