HP touchsmart 610-1280qd CTO Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

How do I connect a laptop to the HP touchsmart 610-1280qd All-in-One using the HDMI in ports on the HP touchsmart?  Note that the HP touchsmart All-in-One has (2) HDMI in.  I'm not saying HDMI out.  They are both HDMI in on the PC.

From its specs, the HDMI is an HDMI-in scalar card for game console (MXM) which is more suitable for game console such as xBox, PS* or a player rather than a notebook.

But if you wish, you can try at your own risk by using a HDMI switch around the front panel. More information
