Good morning I am tech challenged - I bought this monitor for my son who got an X-Box 1s for Christmas - trying to connect them - but the output is HDMI - and as far as I can tell there is not an HDMI port on the monitor - How do I connect them? is there a VGA to HDMI adapter? Just need a little help here.

Hi:
The monitor has VGA, DVI, and Display Port inputs. I know, because I have a LA2205wg monitor too.
You would want to get a HDMI to DVI adapter, or a HDMI to Display Port adapter.
You do not want a HDMI to VGA adapter, because you will only get analog video that way.
Your son is going to want the best digital video he can get, and he can get that from either the DVI or Display Port inputs.
Note that there will not be any audio to or from the monitor, no matter how you hook up the video to it.
