Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
My desktop shortcut icons are unstable. Some just disappear. Some rearrange themselves. Some appear that I didn't put there. This usually happens after I've done something (like run some app, watched a movie, etc.). This has nothing to do with "auto arrange" or other settings (which are unchecked). My only answer has been to send them all to trash, and just pin them to the task bar/start menu. I only use a few, anyway, but this is irritating. It shouldn't happen. I'll be honest---if this is complicated, I guess I'll have to contact tech support and pay the piper.
