Thanks for that info.
Went through your recommendations. Still nothing.
I guess one question I should ask is: Is there supposed to be a camera icon on the desktop or task bar someplace? If so, there isn't one.
Here's something I came across. When I searched for camera, this is what came up (note file location on 2nd pic.)
Then I went to Device Manager and this is what came up when I searched through the tabs
Why does it show USB? I have used USB when I connect my phone to the computer to upload photos but don't know why that would have any effect on the installed HQ camera.
No idea how to solve this. Maybe have to have support do a remote.

This is interesting.
I went to MS store and downloaded the camera app. It installed and I have the camera icon on the desktop.
When I click on that icon, I get a blank screen that says "front facing camera". However, the camera on the top of the screen (monitor) does not open, therefore, no camera. Any ideas why it won't open?
