I was able to successfully extend my laptop to my hp All-In-One desktop using an HDMI cable and use it as a large screen to do my work on. However now that I want to disconnect my laptop from the All-in-One desktop, the desktop screen goes black as soon as I disconnect the HDMI cable, and it will not work as its own PC anymore. I cannot get it to revert back to its original PC state. It will only come back on when I reconnect the HDMI cable to the laptop and will only work as an extension screen to the laptop. How do I revert the All-in-One desktop back to its original function as the PC?  Please help!  I have tried a few things such as resetting (unplug and hold start button for 30 seconds and replug), but no change, it's just a black screen unless plugged back to the laptop.

Typically there is a button to press that changes the display back, but need the model number of the PC to determine the location of the button.   I see on some models that button is located on the lower right underside.
