Display Black Shadow in corner

I have a HP 24mh 23.8-inch Display Product 1d0J9AA that is just over a year old.  A black shadow has suddenly appeared in the lower right corner.  i have rebooted, check connections, replaced the HDMI cord with a brand new one and still have the black shadow.  I am out of warranty.  What can I do?

I understand that you are getting issues with your monitor, I am glad to assist you.

If you haven't, Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure, 

if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, this could be an issue with the monitor.

If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS) 

If this issue appears on the BIOS screen, this might require one on one interaction to fix the issue,
